All-Hands-On-Deck Work
By now we are probably all too familiar with the staggering statistics regarding the decline in bee colonies, the loss of monarch butterfly populations, and the deterioration in biodiversity in general. This workshop highlights the importance of mindful and responsible planning for a pollinator-friendly habitat in the landscape.
Various aspects including design and placement of landscape elements; choice of plant materials with respect to nutritional value for pollinators and practicing sustainable garden techniques will be discussed. Concrete examples will be demonstrated and resources identified so you can immediately implement them in your home landscape.
