To Be or Not To Be
As the year comes to a close, it is natural to reflect back. And, it’s also a time to think ahead, make plans, make a resolution. That all makes sense.
But, perhaps, most underrated of all, is the concept of staying in the present moment. Simply, to be. Indeed, Shakespeare had it right when his Hamlet opined: “to be or not to be.” Indeed, that is the question, for if we can not be in the present moment, neither the past nor the future offers us any hope of the life we wish to experience. In the end, our life is simply a string of present moments.
Let me take a pause from anything further, to let you just ponder that, and be for now.
